Kentucky one-year-old who went missing from daycare found drowned in pond

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) – Kentucky State Police are investigating the drowning death of a 1-year-old boy who was previously reported missing.

Kentucky State Police responded to Helm Schoolhouse Road at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Lincoln Spalding, 15 months old, was found in a pond after being reported missing from a residential daycare.

Spalding was transported to Spring View Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

KSP Detective Kenny Brown, Social Services Special Investigations and the Inspector Generals Office are investigating.
