Medical examiner releases cause of death in Norwalk daycare case

NORWALK — The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Tuesday that “sudden unexpected infant death” was the cause of death of a 4-month-old girl in October at a Norwalk daycare.

A spokesperson for the medical examiner said that the death of the infant, Corinne Magda, was caused by SUID while sleeping prone in a Pack ‘n Play. The manner of death was undetermined, the spokesperson said.
