Westwood Early Childhood Council joined communities across the state to celebrate the statewide initiative of “Brain Building In Progress.” This campaign aims to bring communities together to focus on early education and the positive impact of meaningful, intentional interaction between parent/caregiver and child.
The Council sponsored an Earth Day Celebration on April 26 at Westwood Main Library. Families with young children joined staff from local early education and care programs to engage in science, technology, engineering, and math activities. Families discovered and explored with hands on learning provided by MMO Nursery School, St. John’s Nursery School, The Tobin School, Westwood Children’s School, Westwood Montessori School, Westwood Nursery School, Westwood Public Integrated Preschool.
