STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An 8-year-old third-grader who had been bullied by schoolmates suffered head injuries 14 months ago when another boy pushed him to the ground, alleges a lawsuit and the attorney for the child’s mother.
Rose Campanella has sued the city and its Education Department over the Nov. 9, 2015, incident. The Michael J. Petrides School, where the incident occurred, is not a named defendant.
