Daycare owner’s husband facing four CSC charges

The husband of a Linden daycare owner has been arraigned on four counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) involving two alleged victims under the age of 13. The state had suspended the license of the in-home daycare on July 13, which had been in business since 1994.

Douglas William Walsh, 60, of Linden was arraigned Oct. 3 in Genesee County 67th District Court. A personal bond of $10,000 was ordered on each count and he was released from custody with a sheriff’s tether. If convicted, Walsh could face up to 15 years in prison, according to the Michigan Penal Code.
