Kids, staff rescued after flood waters surround Kentucky daycare

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO/WKYT) — Emergency responders in Allen County are dealing with multiple reports of flooding.

The Allen County Sheriff’s Office got a report of high water at a daycare on Old Hartsville Road that trapped teachers and children. Emergency crews were able to rescue all of those people. A photograph from Gray Television affiliate WBKO shows children and workers on a fire truck in high water. Fire crews took the children and workers to the Scottsville Baptist Church.
