UPDATE
ROSENBERG, TEXAS (February 14, 2017): Lucy’s Legacy, a daycare at 3200 Avenue I, was evacuated as fire units arrived on scene. AT&T employees allowed the children to be evacuated into their climate-controlled building across the street.
Firefighters stated that there was smoke in the building upon entry; however, no visible flames. After a thorough search of the building, it was determined that there was no fire and the building was handed over to CenterPoint Energy in order to isolate the issue and restore power to the building. Occupants were allowed to return to the building shortly after. The Rosenberg Fire Department and Rosenberg Police Department would like thank the AT&T employees for their assistance and shelter to the occupants.
